I've been a husband for 23 years, a father for 16, and a Product Leader for 13 — and somewhere along the way I may have developed a slight 3D printing habit. Each of those roles has taught me the same lesson: the goal is only half the story.

The other half is how you get there — the health of the team, the clarity of the process, the stability of the foundation you build on. I've spent my career asking not just why a product works the way it does, but why a team works the way it does. Those two questions are more connected than most people realize.

I build products that are delightful and teams that are self-reliant. The measure of a good leader, to me, is that things still work well when you're not in the room.
